Looking at a truck for sale. I want a truck I can play in/with, learn some self car care along the way. Truck is in ok shape from what little I have learned about it so far. Issue is, and owner does not have time to work on it, that it will not move faster than 50 MPH. I don’t mind the speed restriction, but it will be a fun place to start. Any ideas on best places to look as I get my hands dirty? 4×4 works fine.

I live 4hrs from the owner. Give my stuff I can check before making a dumb decision.

What do you mean it will not move faster then 50 mph? With only that information sounds like it might be stuck in 4×4 low

I am looking at buying a 2010 4X4 pickup to upgrade from my 2005 4X4. My 2005 4X4 has a lift kit and large off road tires, and the 2010 im looking at is stock. It is priced at 23000. So, can I get a loan for 25000 and purchase the truck AND the lift kit and tires all on the note, or will they only let me finance what the price on the truck is?? my banker is on vacation so i thought i would ask yall. haha thanks in advance

If you can find a banker who would lend you $25K to buy a $23K truck, please do let me know.
The lift kit and tires simply don’t count in the new deal. Sorry!
